Same here, Doug. I’m still figuring out how to deal with all of the frightened parts I am beginning to recognize and acknowledge. Wrestling a little bit with how to navigate allowing myself to feel the pain behind these emotions without reacting and how “healing” can happen as a result. Thankful for what I’m learning. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences on this journey. Much love to you and your loved ones. 🙂

Thank you for posting, Doug. It sounds like we’re on similar journeys. I’m in the early stages of learning how to “challenge the frightened parts of my personality,” but thankful that at least I’m becoming more aware that this is what is happening. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with you and others in the group.

It is so encouraging to read everyone’s posts. I know we are all connected in our journeys to learning how to grow in authentic power. I’ve found this process to be both challenging and exhilarating; bouncing back and forth at times between despair and gratitude, learning how to love and forgive myself as I turn around to look at what is going on inside my own heart instead of returning to old habits of hiding, blaming, getting distracted or looking for something external to “fix” my life. I am so thankful for the things I am learning and for the opportunity to share these experiences with everyone in this community. Blessings to each of you.
