I am 72, retired after spending 37 years in the US Patent and Trademark Office. My wife and I have between us, 4 daughters (two each from prior marriages), nine grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
I was spiritually lost in my first marriage, my former wife and I had sex in 1970 after knowing each other for only a week, and I felt obligated to marry her even though there was no resulting pregnancy. Eighteen years later, my then wife felt secured enough to divorce me because we had differences in religion that were not reconcilable and our daughters were old enough at ages 13 and 15 to take care of themselves. Every wish my former wife asked for in the divorce papers, I gave to her; and, I maintained a healthy relationship with my children even to this day.
My spirit grew tremendously during the time I dated after my divorce and my second wife and I were married in 2001 after knowing each other for 11 years, the last six of which were years we dated each other exclusively. Her first husband died from cancer and the fact that we each had two daughters was one thing we shared in common although mine lived with my former wife. We also have religious differences but they are manageable because my wife accepts the fact that I don’t believe Jesus is God, and I accept her views that he is God. Also, I do believe the bible is an inspired work and will attend church with her.
One of my passions is to share information and ideas to help souls grow in healthy ways to reduce the stresses that cause disharmony throughout the world. I look at my life as being made complete through participation in the Life School.
