When I strive for balance, it’s difficult to be gentle with myself. I tend to get negative, and self critical. But, as Gary has pointed out, how can we recognize balance without recognizing imbalance? It is important to be conscious of all we are, not just the light or the darkness that is within us. |

I also agree. Thanks for the observation, Klattu. Sometimes when I have frightened parts active, I don’t want to look at anything about myself. However, the online course is helping to remind me how important it is to be emotionally aware so that I can know where I am balanced and imbalanced. I can then strive to challenge those parts that are not loving or imbalanced. I really enjoyed the second lesson! I thought that looking at the windows in the mansion was great because it reminded me of both my loving and frightened parts. The Soul Log also helped me as I learned more about myself by answering the questions. |

I am full of imbalance and fear. My difficulty is letting go of what I think I should have versus what is best for my spiritual growth. Several failed relationships, always feeling somewhat beneath, always giving and loving but not receiving. I agree with all that Gary pointed out in Seat of the Soul. I have to constantly remind myself what my true intentions are. What’s even more difficult is that I don’t KNOW what my true intentions are yet. If this sounds somewhat like jibberish, it is. I don’t know enough yet, but I truly want to learn. I feel as though I’m on the right path. |

I think that it s important to go inward rather than outward and react to stressful stimulus. It seems in the past I would automatically react with anger, hurt or whatever. Now I realize that I need to stop and go inward rather than react to the stress or bad commen or whatever had stressed me. That way, I can immediately stop the cycle in its tracks. I can also solve the problem rather than react to it. |

I am amazed to find that I do feel pain in my throat and chest areas when I unexectedly encountered a person I had Robles with in the past. |

Thank you Marilyn for expressing your difficulty in ascertaining your intentions, had you not raised it Christina may have not recommended potentially life changing books! Many thanks to you both. I look forward to reading those books and hope it will resolve my uncertainty/indecisiveness in relation to what my ‘purpose’ is. |

I’ve learned that one’s intention really sets the stage for the outcome. I’m really taking a good look at my intentions these days rather than the random way I have been doing things. I definitely need practice with them. |
