Hello all. It has been almost six months since my worst nightmare happened. My beloved adult son died suddenly. I am no stranger to grief, loss and trauma…my stepson does 20 years ago. In the past 6 months I have asked why I was struck by lightning twice. The answer is: why not? I grew to become a therapist after my stepson died so many years ago. Now I see the layers of that identity shifting and changing. I am in a liminal space where everything is in flux. Gary’s Book ‘Seat of the Soul’ has been instrumental because it mirrors what I know to be true. I am seeking connection with others who also trust themselves and their knowing.
