Hi Deb, Last night on our Journey support call I stated that I felt that it was possible that you were speaking from a frightened part of your personality that feels you are “too busy” to make a time commitment to support at Journey 2014. What came up for me after the call ended was that when we were given a role playing assignment for the last Journey that you were enjoying the planning for what our small group would role play. You organized our group and even typed up the role play and made copies for everyone. I am curious if perfectionism, control and feeling everything needs to be organized is the root of “too busy” and could this a familiar frightened part that you haven’t recognized.

What I discovered about myself is that I have a frightened part that does not want to take responsibility for anything. Your organization appeased this frightened part of my personality.

I thank you for your sharing. I find that it created an opportunity for me to recognize at a deeper level our small group this last summer.
