I loved our Life School monthly call this last Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 on Light. It was so wonderful to be reminded that my Light, how vibrant and loving it is…is up to me. In any moment I notice my light has dimmed; when a frightened part of my personality has come up and I’m not challenging it…all I have to do is change my perspective from fear to love and my Light expands.
I am so grateful for this Life School Community because I need these frequent reminders!!

Hi Kristen,
When you say all you have to do is change your perspective from fear to love an your light expands can you explain for me a little more as to what you feel when this happens? How does intention come into play?

Hi Joanne,
When my Light has dimmed, it feels heavy, my energy feels pulled in/closer to my body and more tense. My thoughts are of fear, for example “I’m not going to be okay; I wish this wasn’t happening.” The frightened part intention is to have me believe that perspective to be true and remain in this energy.

When I notice this is happening and my intention is to challenge this frightened part of my personality, I open to looking at the situation differently….for example, with gratitude for the opportunity to heal this familiar pain. The loving part thoughts change to “I am okay, this situation is supporting my growth.” I then make a conscious choice to relax my energy, allow it to soften and begin to open/expand. I feel a depth in my body of awareness that feels clear.

I feel the intention to heal, to make a different choice amidst the FP supports me with making a change in the moment. A change to come from the most healthy, loving place in me despite the FP being there. It opens the door for me to know this is possible, no matter how deep or convincing the FP is.
Thank you for asking.
Love,
Kristen
