Hello Good People – Having returned from my first “Journey” at Mt Hood last month, I am committed to
continue to practice the principles to develop Spiritual Partnership in my life. With that said, returning home, life takes over – summer activities, guests, work, grief. Finally, I am here, having signed on for this next year of Life School. My intention is to check in regularly to listen, support and share. Thanks to all of you joining together on this journey.

Hi Diane!
Nice to hear from you. I felt the same thing a few weels after coming back from the Journey. One of my spiritual partners asked me if I had been looking at the Creating Authenic Power Guidelines and I had not. I wanted to share with you that after my group call, I felt the reconnection I had been missing when “Life took Over”. I was very grateful for the love and support. Have you been able to look at your Guidelines? How have they helped you?

Hello Luz – Thanks for your response. Yes, I do look at the Guidelines . . . I have multiple copies
printed and posted in different places in my home . . . plus I carry the laminated cards with me. I
think a lot about my Intention and about responding from a loving part of my personality. It is slow going. I was glad to connect on the Journey Reunion call this evening. Were you there? It is hard to catch everyone that is present unless you sign on early, right? Also, tried to get a photo uploaded. My tech skills leave much to be desired. Will work on that this weekend maybe. Thanks.

I’m excited! Just participated in my first live on-line chat with Life School.
WONDERFUL to connect with so many good folks that I met at the Journey in July.
Also, somehow I just succeeded in uploading a photo – yay!!!
Not my favorite photo of myself.
Then again, it’s Perfect!!! From a trip to Australia 4 years ago (a life-long dream) to visit
my pen pal friend of 50 years. I’m pointing to Antarctica from a lighthouse on the South Ocean!!

Hello Diane,

So good to be with you on Sunday. I admire your courage and determination that you have made on committing to your spiritual growth. Personally, I keep going back to the Commitment portion of the guidelines. Re-reading the sentence where I am “making my Spiritual Growth my highest priority” has been really powerful as I KNOW that in my heart. I continue to be present and open but paying attention to my emotions and my thoughts has been so helpful to me since the journey as I was overwhelmed with frightened parts that wanted that were afraid of being judged or wanted to feel superior. Focusing on this guideline has helped me getting out of my head and back in my heart where I can feel and then set a clearer intention.

Hi Diane,
Good to be on the on-line live chat with you Sunday. I relate to your above comment about your photo not being your favorite and then seeing the perfection of it. I am grateful for the awareness creating authentic power is giving me. I can choose to use my energy in not liking something, like a picture of myself or choose to take that reaction as an opportunity to learn about myself, especially noticing what I’m feeling in my body ( my frightened parts don’t like doing that) and then choosing from my healthiest parts. For me this is an exciting experiment!

Thanks for your inquiry . . . . good to hear from another kindred spirit.
I am doing well – today is my birthday, spent entirely alone, but not alone because so many ways to be connected with people via social media, telephone, cards, texts and just being friendly with people I see as I walk to town & back for my errands today. I am a bit frustrated with “progress” in this program due to no regular contacts with others. Structure is useful for me and, although my intentions are good, the book sits on my desk (Heart of the Soul) with little focused work as there is no “feedback” loop with others. Suggestions?? Hi Diane,
I am wondering if your statement “I am frustrated with “progress” in this program due to no regular contacts with others.” Could be coming from a frightened part of your personality. You also stated that the book “stays on your desk.” How could you challenge those FPP that are keeping you from going deeper? I found that this work is really about learning as much about myself and all of the aspects of my personality, frightened parts and loving parts, as I can. Maybe you could start a community forum topic on “Heart of the Soul” and post your experience with it and what you are learning about yourself. I look forward to hearing more about your discoveries.

Thanks, Patrice, for your response. I don’t know what this “stuck-ness” is about for me . . . wanting to do things the “right” way is a big part of it. Feeling a bit lost in this process also. Thanks for your suggestion to start a Community Forum topic on “Heart of the Soul”. As I write this there are indications of a FP coming up, afraid of rejection – again, not doing it right or nobody wanting to join in. I know that all I can do is step into this and see where it takes me. Much gratitude – Diane
