I really enjoyed listening to Gary’s commitment video. It is a great reminder how important commitment is.
I resonate with Gary when he talked about “drawing a line on the sand” that your FPs will not control you any longer and later he talks about his sex addiction.
For me also it came the time over 6 years ago when I made the decision to quit my addiction and put my full commitment behind it. I am grateful that I did not have any fall backs and did not cross the line regarding this addiction.
Since starting going to Gary’s events, I have set intentions to challenge FPs and still reacted from FPs instead of responding from love. In the past I would react from FPs that felt ashamed.
I now know that there is no shame when I falter when I still reacted from FPs. All I need to do is to learn from the experience and recommit to be more aware and respond from love next time.
