I participated in Deepak and Oprah’s first 21 day meditation challenge a few years ago. I was so moved by the experience that I found a local transcendental meditation teacher and have been meditating daily ever since. Last month, they had another 21 day challenge that I was doing and Oprah read a quote from Seat of the Soul that really resonated with me. I ordered the book that day and I am now reading it and working through the study guide. What I have discovered with meditation is – it’s like any other exercise – you have to DO it to reap the benefits (which are many). I know I do better when I am participating in a practice that gives me some topic to reflect on and journal about. I am turning 60 next week and I feel there is a huge shift going on inside of me. That’s why I think I’m here – to explore this shift. I look forward to learning more about myself and meeting other like minded beings. |

Hi Becky, Welcome to the community! Now that you are here, you can browse some of the other items that have been posted. Looking at the Live Sessions forum is a good place to start. Under each topic, people share about what they are learning about authentic power and how they are challenging their fears or where they need support. You can share about how your are learning to challenge specific things in your life as well. We are here to support each other. ~David |

Hi Becky, Welcome to the Life SChool Community! I look forward to hearing what you are learning about yourself. Like you, I have to DO it in order to reap the benefits. My experience with learning to create authentic power is that I have to experiment with doing it before my life changes. Participating in the Life School supports me with how to apply authentic power in my life. I look forward to connecting with you. |
