I just started the online course. I read spiritual partnership several months ago and it had a profound effect on my relationship with myself and with others. I am re-reading the book as I go through the course and the material has deepened. I am really excited about this. No one in my personal life is doing this work and I already notice my level of frustration with others (superiority) for what I view as making me responsible for how they feel instead of looking at themselves. I also notice myself feeling that I am more advanced and expect others to be at my level. I laugh as I write this, realizing how silly it is but it is what is up for me big time.

I am interested in anyone’s comments about this and if anyone is going through the same type of experience.

I look forward to meeting you all and sharing our discoveries.

Peace,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

I will write more later. My computer crashed and just got it repaired but have quite a bit to catch up on.
I am going through the same experience as you are. Several of my spiritual friends still choose to look
outside themselves. I guess we just have to continue on our journey and in time, they will want to go deeper, too.

Hi guys – I usually think of two concept: non-judgement and non-resistance. If I feel superior or inferior I know I am not in the paradigm of those two principles. I also think, of two sayings I came across “but for the grace of god, say I” and “forgive them lord for they do not know what they do.” I’m not Christian but these sayings really work for me I hope they help.

Hi Rashelness,
Thank you for these concepts: non-judgement and non-resistance. It is short and easy to remember, but it sums it all that’s needed. (“Forgive them lord for they do not know what they do” may sound “superior”, but actually it works and helps in everyday situations. 🙂 Thanks!

Jennifer as I read your post I found myself relating to what you said about your friends still looking outside themselves and wanting them not to do that and feeling my frustration level go up. And all of my friends are trying to take responsibility for themselves. I realize I’m still seeking external power more than I was aware of myself. Hmmm….just like my friends. I appreciate my own awareness right now. Thanks Jennifer for your post.
