Welcome! I’m curious what brought you to the Authentic Power Learning Community? I saw Gary on Oprah many years ago and I wanted to learn more about the things he spoke about, such as “Challenging your fears”….I’m still learning and I get so much from the monthly calls. For example, right now I want to avoid (or rather, a frightened part of my personality wants me to avoid) the way I am feeling ….I have an aching tightness in my heart and a tightening in my lower abdomen, and a thickening tightness in my throat and tension in my forehead…and the thoughts are, “if you feel this pain, you’ll stay there you need to get moving”…I instantly wanted a chocolate dounut….a craving that this fearful part of me believes can only be satified if I eat sugar, a chocolate dounut RIGHT NOW…but I am recalling the call from last Saturday on “Why New Years Resolutions Don’t Work”….and I know that this craving has nothing to do with sugar, chocolate or donuts….it is a longing for connection, b/c this part of me does not believe it is connected to anyone or anything…and eating sugar right now would numb this pain…and I would not see what is on the other side of it…so I am challenging this desire for “sugar” by logging onto the community board, Trust my process, and share whats going on with me.. and to ask…What is going on for you Flo?
