I’ve just joined this community, even though I’ve already begun the Awakening to Authentic Power course. I have been doing some research into learning opportunities that would support my renewed efforts at spiritual growth and development. “Coincidentally” I happened to see Gary’s interview with Oprah on her show last Sunday, and here I am. I’m looking forward to engaging with this community and absorbing what is here for me. I’m excited, perhaps a little anxious, but really glad to be here!

Welcome Roberta! Gary’s interview with Oprah on Super Soul Sunday set me on the path to Authentic Power, too.
Looking forward to learning and growing with you.

Good morning (from my location) Chi. Thanks for your response. Even though it’s not too early where I am, I have been awake for a while. I tried working on Chapter 3 exercises focusing on the energy centers. I think I need to go back to bed and get a little more sleep first because I feel like I’m nodding off! Can’t help but think, though, if that’s some unconscious resistance. I look forward to learning and growing with you and other community friends too. Have a wonderful day!

Welcome Chi and Roberta so great to have you join the community. What have you been learning about yourself? Have you read Seat of the Soul?

Love, Joanne

Thank you, Joanne. I apologize for the delay in responding. I’ve been putting more hours in at work lately so my time with personal interests has been somewhat limited. I have not read Seat of the Soul yet, but am eager to accomplish that in the near future.

Hi Joanne and thank you. Reading The Seat Of The Soul was extremely illuminating for me. For the first time in my life, I’m looking inward and discovering/experiencing aspects of my personality that I never acknowledged before. It’s the hardest, most exciting, most rewarding work I’ve ever done.

Hello Roberta, Chi and Joanne,
Today I received my copy of the 25th anniversary edition of Seat of the Soul! This rich edition comes with a study guide nearly 90 pages long and inspiring prefaces by Oprah and Maya Angelou. A website has just been created to accompany the study guide, with videos of Gary and audio meditations by Gary for each chapter: http://seatofthesoul.com/sg/. If you haven’t yet read Seat of the Soul, Roberta, this is the edition to start with. The idea is also to create/join a study group so that you can share what you are learning about yourself as you read the book and experiment with the study guide’s questions and exercises. As Chi put it, this can be “the hardest, most exciting, most rewarding work” anyone of us has ever done.
With love, Catherine
