Greetings. I read TSOS in December of 1998, based on O’s recommendation. Reading it was a Christmas gift I consciously gave to myself. Not only did I finish reading it right before Christmas that year … but that Christmas Eve, Oprah’s gift to her viewers was her first one-hour interview with Gary. I inhaled all of it. Remarkably, my 43-year-old my wife Trici died, suddenly, a week later, on New Year’s Day 1999. Had our daughter Erin lived, the next day, January 2, 1999 would have been Erin’s 10th birthday. The words in TSOS sustained me through that THIS-IS-REAL-LIFE adventure. So my journey with Gary and TSOS (and even O) began that “Change Your Life” TV autumn of 1998. I have read the book probably 10 times. Each time marveling at it’s newness, freshness and relevance. I had the pleasure of being with Gary and Linda, this fall, in Scottsdale at the Celebrate Your Life Conference. Got to test this program. The message that Gary and Linda are offering – love or fear – had been, and continues to be, powerfully transformational, for me. I look forward to this new leg of the journey.
