I’d like to share an experience I had today during a meeting to advocate for children who have been removed from their parents due to abuse or neglect. The parent (single mother) involved will likely have her parental rights terminated for her children. At today’s meeting it was obvious that the Therapists for the children, the Caseworker for DCS, and the foster Mom were not communicating well. What was wonderful for me while watching and hearing the confusion, was that I did not want to judge or indulge other fp’s that came up as I watched the tension grow. My intention for speaking to them was to be clear and say what I
needed to say in the most loving way I could. I was meeting with some strong personalities with many fp’s active. As I spoke I was able to scan, and keep focused on my intention. It wasn’t easy, but it felt so true and authentic! Letting go of my fp’s philosophy that thinks it knows why people behave the way they do, and embracing what I have learned about karma and opportunity for healing, have made me more committed to healing my own life, and not wanting to add to the pain others are experiencing. Being at the Journey last week was such a blessing and gift. Thank you Gary, Linda, and all my spiritual partners. Namaste, Pam
